5:11
God spoke to Moses, telling him to
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe lemor.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.

5:12
speak to the Israelites and say to them: [This is the law] if any man’s wife is suspected of committing adultery and being false to her husband.
Daber el-bney Yisra’el ve’amarta alehem ish ish ki-tisteh ishto uma’alah vo ma’al.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם: אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּי-תִשְׂטֶה אִשְׁתּוֹ, וּמָעֲלָה בוֹ מָעַל.

5:13
A man may have Iain with her carnally, keeping it hidden from her husband, and they may have acted secretly so that there could be no witness against [the woman]. [The woman] was not raped.
Veshachav ish otah shichvat-zera venelam me’eyney ishah venisterah vehi nitma’ah ve’ed eyn bah vehi lo nitpasah.
וְשָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָהּ, שִׁכְבַת-זֶרַע, וְנֶעְלַם מֵעֵינֵי אִישָׁהּ, וְנִסְתְּרָה וְהִיא נִטְמָאָה; וְעֵד אֵין בָּהּ, וְהִוא לֹא נִתְפָּשָׂה.

5:14
[This is a case where] the man [had previously] expressed feelings of jealousy against his wife, and she then [may have been] defiled. [However,] he may have expressed such feelings of jealousy against his wife, and she [may have not been] defiled.
Ve’avar alav ruach-kin’ah vekine et-ishto vehi nitma’ah o-avar alav ruach-kin’ah vekine et-ishto vehi lo nitma’ah.
וְעָבַר עָלָיו רוּחַ-קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ, וְהִוא נִטְמָאָה; אוֹ-עָבַר עָלָיו רוּחַ-קִנְאָה וְקִנֵּא אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ, וְהִיא לֹא נִטְמָאָה.

5:15
[The law is] that the man must bring [his wife] to the priest. When he brings her, he must also bring a sacrifice for her consisting of 1/10 ephah of barley meal. He shall not pour oil on it, nor place frankincense on it, since it is a jealousy offering. It is a reminder offering to recall sin.
Vehevi ha’ish et-ishto el-hakohen vehevi et-korbanah aleyha asirit ha’eyfah kemach se’orim lo-yitsok alav shemen velo-yiten alav levonah ki-minchat kna’ot hu minchat zikaron mazkeret avon.
וְהֵבִיא הָאִישׁ אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן, וְהֵבִיא אֶת-קָרְבָּנָהּ עָלֶיהָ, עֲשִׂירִת הָאֵיפָה קֶמַח שְׂעֹרִים; לֹא-יִצֹק עָלָיו שֶׁמֶן, וְלֹא-יִתֵּן עָלָיו לְבֹנָה–כִּי-מִנְחַת קְנָאֹת הוּא, מִנְחַת זִכָּרוֹן מַזְכֶּרֶת עָו‍ֹן.

5:16
The priest shall bring forth [the woman] and have her stand before God.
Vehikriv otah hakohen vehe’emidah lifney Adonay.
וְהִקְרִיב אֹתָהּ, הַכֹּהֵן; וְהֶעֱמִדָהּ, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה.

5:17
The priest shall take sanctified water in a clay bowl. He shall [also] take some earth from the Tabernacle floor and place it in the water.
Velakach hakohen mayim kedoshim bichli-chares umin-he’afar asher yihyeh bekarka haMishkan yikach hakohen venatan el-hamayim.
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מַיִם קְדֹשִׁים, בִּכְלִי-חָרֶשׂ; וּמִן-הֶעָפָר, אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה בְּקַרְקַע הַמִּשְׁכָּן, יִקַּח הַכֹּהֵן, וְנָתַן אֶל-הַמָּיִם.

5:18
The priest shall stand the woman before God and uncover her hair. He shall place on her hands the reminder offering, the jealousy offering. In the priest’s hand shall be the curse-bearing bitter water.
Vehe’emid hakohen et-ha’ishah lifney Adonay ufara et-rosh ha’ishah venatan al-kapeyha et minchat hazikaron minchat kena’ot hi uveyad hakohen yihyu mey hamarim hame’orerim.
וְהֶעֱמִיד הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הָאִשָּׁה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, וּפָרַע אֶת-רֹאשׁ הָאִשָּׁה, וְנָתַן עַל-כַּפֶּיהָ אֵת מִנְחַת הַזִּכָּרוֹן מִנְחַת קְנָאֹת הִוא; וּבְיַד הַכֹּהֵן יִהְיוּ, מֵי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרְרִים.

5:19
The priest shall administer an oath to the woman, saying to her, ‘If a man has not lain with you, and you have not committed adultery so as to be defiled to your husband, you shall be unharmed by this curse-bearing bitter water.
Vehishbia otah hakohen ve’amar el-ha’ishah im-lo shachav ish otach ve’im-lo satit tum’ah tachat ishech hinaki mimey hamarim hame’orerim ha’eleh.
וְהִשְׁבִּיעַ אֹתָהּ הַכֹּהֵן, וְאָמַר אֶל-הָאִשָּׁה אִם-לֹא שָׁכַב אִישׁ אֹתָךְ, וְאִם-לֹא שָׂטִית טֻמְאָה, תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ–הִנָּקִי, מִמֵּי הַמָּרִים הַמְאָרְרִים הָאֵלֶּה.

5:20
But if you have committed adultery against your husband and have become defiled, and if a man other than your husband has had intercourse with you …’
Ve’at ki satit tachat ishech vechi nitmet vayiten ish bach et-shchovto mibal’adey ishech.
וְאַתְּ, כִּי שָׂטִית תַּחַת אִישֵׁךְ–וְכִי נִטְמֵאת; וַיִּתֵּן אִישׁ בָּךְ אֶת-שְׁכָבְתּוֹ, מִבַּלְעֲדֵי אִישֵׁךְ.

5:21
[At this point] the priest shall administer to the woman [the part of] the oath containing the curse. The priest shall say to the woman, ‘[In such a case], God will make you into a curse and an oath among your people, causing your sexual organs to rupture and your belly to blow up.
Vehishbia hakohen et-ha’ishah bishvu’at ha’alah ve’amar hakohen la’ishah yiten Adonay otach le’alah velishvu’ah betoch amech betet Adonay et-yerechech nofelet ve’et-bitnef tsava.
וְהִשְׁבִּיעַ הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הָאִשָּׁה, בִּשְׁבֻעַת הָאָלָה, וְאָמַר הַכֹּהֵן לָאִשָּׁה, יִתֵּן יְהוָה אוֹתָךְ לְאָלָה וְלִשְׁבֻעָה בְּתוֹךְ עַמֵּךְ–בְּתֵת יְהוָה אֶת-יְרֵכֵךְ נֹפֶלֶת, וְאֶת-בִּטְנֵךְ צָבָה.

5:22
This curse-bearing water will enter your body and it will cause your belly to blow up and your sexual organs to rupture’. The woman shall respond, ‘Amen. Amen’.
Uva’u hamayim hame’orerim ha’eleh beme’ayich latsbot beten velanpil yarech ve’amrah ha’ishah amen amen.
וּבָאוּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים הָאֵלֶּה, בְּמֵעַיִךְ, לַצְבּוֹת בֶּטֶן, וְלַנְפִּל יָרֵךְ; וְאָמְרָה הָאִשָּׁה, אָמֵן אָמֵן.

5:23
The priest shall then write these curses on a parchment, and dissolve [the writing] in the bitter waters.
Vechatav et-ha’alot ha’eleh hakohen basefer umachah el-mey hamarim.
וְכָתַב אֶת-הָאָלֹת הָאֵלֶּה, הַכֹּהֵן–בַּסֵּפֶר; וּמָחָה, אֶל-מֵי הַמָּרִים.

5:24
He shall then make the woman drink the bitter curse-bearing waters, and the curse-bearing waters shall begin to take effect.
Vehishkah et-ha’ishah et-mey hamarim hame’orerim uva’u vah hamayim hame’orerim lemarim.
וְהִשְׁקָה, אֶת-הָאִשָּׁה, אֶת-מֵי הַמָּרִים, הַמְאָרְרִים; וּבָאוּ בָהּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים, לְמָרִים.

5:25
The priest shall take the jealousy offering from the woman, and wave the offering in the prescribed motions before God, bringing it near the altar.
Velakach hakohen miyad ha’ishah et minchat hakena’ot vehenif et-haminchah lifney Adonay vehikriv otah el-hamizbe’ach.
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן מִיַּד הָאִשָּׁה, אֵת מִנְחַת הַקְּנָאֹת; וְהֵנִיף אֶת-הַמִּנְחָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, וְהִקְרִיב אֹתָהּ אֶל-הַמִּזְבֵּחַ.

5:26
Thus after he makes the woman drink the water, the priest shall scoop out the memorial portion of the meal offering and burn it on the altar.
Vekamats hakohen min-haminchah et-azkaratah vehiktir hamizbechah ve’achar yashkeh et-ha’ishah et-hamayim.
וְקָמַץ הַכֹּהֵן מִן-הַמִּנְחָה אֶת-אַזְכָּרָתָהּ, וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחָה; וְאַחַר יַשְׁקֶה אֶת-הָאִשָּׁה, אֶת-הַמָּיִם.

5:27
When the woman drinks the water, if she has been defiled and untrue to her husband, the curse-bearing water, will enter her body to poison her, causing her belly to blow up and her sexual organs to rupture. The woman will be a curse among her people.
Vehishkah et-hamayim vehayetah im-nitme’ah vatim’ol ma’al be’ishah uva’u vah hamayim hame’orerim lemarim vetsavetah vitnah venaflah yerechah vehayetah ha’ishah le’alah bekerev amah.
וְהִשְׁקָהּ אֶת-הַמַּיִם, וְהָיְתָה אִם-נִטְמְאָה וַתִּמְעֹל מַעַל בְּאִישָׁהּ–וּבָאוּ בָהּ הַמַּיִם הַמְאָרְרִים לְמָרִים, וְצָבְתָה בִטְנָהּ וְנָפְלָה יְרֵכָהּ; וְהָיְתָה הָאִשָּׁה לְאָלָה, בְּקֶרֶב עַמָּהּ.

5:28
However, if the woman is pure and has not been defiled to her husband, she will remain unharmed and will become pregnant.
Ve’im-lo nitme’ah ha’ishah utehorah hi veniktah venizre’ah zara.
וְאִם-לֹא נִטְמְאָה הָאִשָּׁה, וּטְהֹרָה הִוא–וְנִקְּתָה, וְנִזְרְעָה זָרַע.

5:29
This is the [entire] law regarding jealousy for the case when a woman commits adultery and becomes unclean
Zot torat hakena’ot asher tisteh ishah tachat ishah venitma’ah.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת, הַקְּנָאֹת, אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׂטֶה אִשָּׁה תַּחַת אִישָׁהּ, וְנִטְמָאָה.

5:30
or when a man simply has a feeling of jealousy against his wife. He shall stand the woman before God, and the priest shall follow this entire procedure.
O ish asher ta’avor alav ruach kin’ah vekine et-ishto vehe’emid et-ha’ishah lifney Adonay ve’asah lah hakohen et kol-hatorah hazot.
אוֹ אִישׁ, אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲבֹר עָלָיו רוּחַ קִנְאָה–וְקִנֵּא אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ; וְהֶעֱמִיד אֶת-הָאִשָּׁה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, וְעָשָׂה לָהּ הַכֹּהֵן, אֵת כָּל-הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת.

5:31
The man will then be free of sin, but the woman will be punished if guilty.
Venikah ha’ish me’avon veha’ishah hahi tisa et-avonah.
וְנִקָּה הָאִישׁ, מֵעָו‍ֹן; וְהָאִשָּׁה הַהִוא, תִּשָּׂא אֶת-עֲו‍ֹנָהּ.

6:1
God spoke to Moses, telling him to
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe lemor.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.

6:2
speak to the Israelites and say to them: [This is the law] when a man or woman expresses a nazirite vow to God.
Daber el-beney Yisra’el ve’amarta alehem ish o-ishah ki yafli lindor neder nazir lehazir l’Adonay.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם: אִישׁ אוֹ-אִשָּׁה, כִּי יַפְלִא לִנְדֹּר נֶדֶר נָזִיר–לְהַזִּיר, לַיהוָה.

6:3
He must separate himself completely from wine and wine-brandy. He may not even drink vinegar made from wine and wine-brandy. He shall not drink any grape beverage, and he shall not eat any grapes or raisins.
Miyayin veshechar yazir chomets yayin vechomets shechar lo yishteh vechol-mishrat anavim lo yishteh va’anavim lachim viveshim lo yochel.
מִיַּיִן וְשֵׁכָר יַזִּיר, חֹמֶץ יַיִן וְחֹמֶץ שֵׁכָר לֹא יִשְׁתֶּה; וְכָל-מִשְׁרַת עֲנָבִים לֹא יִשְׁתֶּה, וַעֲנָבִים לַחִים וִיבֵשִׁים לֹא יֹאכֵל.

6:4
As long as he is a nazirite, he may not eat anything coming from the grape, from its seeds to its skin.
Kol yemey nizro mikol asher ye’aseh migefen hayayin mechartsanim ve’ad-zag lo yochel.
כֹּל, יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ: מִכֹּל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה מִגֶּפֶן הַיַּיִן, מֵחַרְצַנִּים וְעַד-זָג–לֹא יֹאכֵל.

6:5
As long as he is under nazirite oath, no cutting instrument shall touch [the hair on] his head. Until he completes his term as a nazirite to God, the uncut hair that grows on his head is sacred.
Kol-yemey neder nizro ta’ar lo-ya’avor al-rosho ad-melot hayamim asher-yazir l’Adonay kadosh yihyeh gadel pera se’ar rosho.
כָּל-יְמֵי נֶדֶר נִזְרוֹ, תַּעַר לֹא-יַעֲבֹר עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ: עַד-מְלֹאת הַיָּמִם אֲשֶׁר-יַזִּיר לַיהוָה, קָדֹשׁ יִהְיֶה–גַּדֵּל פֶּרַע, שְׂעַר רֹאשׁוֹ.

6:6
As long as he is a nazirite to God, he may not have any contact with the dead.
Kol-yemey haziro l’Adonay al-nefesh met lo yavo.
כָּל-יְמֵי הַזִּירוֹ, לַיהוָה, עַל-נֶפֶשׁ מֵת, לֹא יָבֹא.

6:7
He may not ritually defile himself even when his father, mother, brother or sister dies, since his God’s nazirite crown is on his head.
Le’aviv ule’imo le’achiv ule’achoto lo-yitama lahem bemotam ki nezer Elohav al-rosho.
לְאָבִיו וּלְאִמּוֹ, לְאָחִיו וּלְאַחֹתוֹ–לֹא-יִטַּמָּא לָהֶם, בְּמֹתָם: כִּי נֵזֶר אֱלֹהָיו, עַל-רֹאשׁוֹ.

6:8
As long as he is a nazirite, he is holy to God.
Kol yemey nizro kadosh hu l’Adonay.
כֹּל, יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, קָדֹשׁ הוּא, לַיהוָה.

6:9
If a person dies in his presence suddenly, and renders his crowned head ritually unclean, then. when he purifies himself on the seventh day, he must shave off the hair on his head.
Vechi-yamut met alav befeta pit’om vetime rosh nizro vegilach rosho beyom tahorato bayom hashvi’i yegalechenu.
וְכִי-יָמוּת מֵת עָלָיו בְּפֶתַע פִּתְאֹם, וְטִמֵּא רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ–וְגִלַּח רֹאשׁוֹ בְּיוֹם טָהֳרָתוֹ, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי יְגַלְּחֶנּוּ.

6:10
On the eighth day, he must bring two turtle doves or two young common doves to the priest to the Communion Tent entrance.
Uvayom hashmini yavi shtey torim o shney beney yonah el-hakohen el-petach Ohel Mo’ed.
וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי, יָבִא שְׁתֵּי תֹרִים, אוֹ שְׁנֵי, בְּנֵי יוֹנָה: אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן–אֶל-פֶּתַח, אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.

6:11
The priest shall prepare one as sin a sin offering and one as a burnt offering to atone for his inadvertent [defilement] by the dead. On that day, he shall resanctify his head.
Ve’asah hakohen echad lechatat ve’echad le’olah vechiper alav me’asher chata al-hanafesh vekidash et-rosho bayom hahu.
וְעָשָׂה הַכֹּהֵן, אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת וְאֶחָד לְעֹלָה, וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו, מֵאֲשֶׁר חָטָא עַל-הַנָּפֶשׁ; וְקִדַּשׁ אֶת-רֹאשׁוֹ, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא.

6:12
He shall then begin counting his nazirite days anew to God, and he shall bring a yearling sheep as a guilt offering.
Vehizir l’Adonay et-yemey nizro vehevi keves ben-shnato le’asham vehayamim harishonim yiplu ki tame nizro.
וְהִזִּיר לַיהוָה אֶת-יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, וְהֵבִיא כֶּבֶשׂ בֶּן-שְׁנָתוֹ לְאָשָׁם; וְהַיָּמִים הָרִאשֹׁנִים יִפְּלוּ, כִּי טָמֵא נִזְרוֹ.

6:13
The following is the law of what the nazirite must do when the term of his nazirite vow is complete [and] of what he must bring to the Communion Tent entrance:
Vezot torat hanazir beyom melot yemey nizro yavi oto el-petach Ohel Mo’ed.
וְזֹאת תּוֹרַת, הַנָּזִיר: בְּיוֹם, מְלֹאת יְמֵי נִזְרוֹ, יָבִיא אֹתוֹ, אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד.

6:14
The offering that he must present shall be one unblemished yearling male sheep for a burnt offering, one unblemished yearling female sheep for a sin offering, one unblemished ram for a peace offering,
Vehikriv et-korbano l’Adonay keves ben-shnato tamim echad le’olah vechavsah achat bat-shnatah tmimah lechatat ve’ayil-echad tamim lishlamim.
וְהִקְרִיב אֶת-קָרְבָּנוֹ לַיהוָה כֶּבֶשׂ בֶּן-שְׁנָתוֹ תָמִים אֶחָד, לְעֹלָה, וְכַבְשָׂה אַחַת בַּת-שְׁנָתָהּ תְּמִימָה, לְחַטָּאת; וְאַיִל-אֶחָד תָּמִים, לִשְׁלָמִים.

6:15
and a basket containing unleavened wheat loaves kneaded with oil and flat matzahs saturated with oil, along with the proper meal offerings and libations [for the animal sacrifices].
Vesal matsot solet chalot blulot bashemen urkikey matsot meshuchim bashamen uminchatam veniskeyhem.
וְסַל מַצּוֹת, סֹלֶת חַלֹּת בְּלוּלֹת בַּשֶּׁמֶן, וּרְקִיקֵי מַצּוֹת, מְשֻׁחִים בַּשָּׁמֶן; וּמִנְחָתָם, וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם.

6:16
The priest shall come in before God and prepare [the nazirite’s] sin offering and burnt offering.
Vehikriv hakohen lifney Adonay ve’asah et-chatato ve’et-olato.
וְהִקְרִיב הַכֹּהֵן, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה; וְעָשָׂה אֶת-חַטָּאתוֹ, וְאֶת-עֹלָתוֹ.

6:17
He shall then [sacrifice] the ram as a peace offering to God, to go with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest shall also present the meal offering and libation.
Ve’et-ha’ayil ya’aseh zevach shlamim l’Adonay al sal hamatsot ve’asah hakohen et-minchato ve’et-nisko.
וְאֶת-הָאַיִל יַעֲשֶׂה זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים, לַיהוָה, עַל, סַל הַמַּצּוֹת; וְעָשָׂה, הַכֹּהֵן, אֶת-מִנְחָתוֹ, וְאֶת-נִסְכּוֹ.

6:18
[After the service] at the Communion Tent entrance, the nazirite shall shave off the crown of hair on his head. He shall take the hair from the nazirite crown on his head, and place it on the fire that is under the peace sacrifice.
Vegilach hanazir petach Ohel Mo’ed et-rosh nizro velakach et-se’ar rosh nizro venatan al-ha’esh asher-tachat zevach hashlamim.
וְגִלַּח הַנָּזִיר, פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד–אֶת-רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ; וְלָקַח, אֶת-שְׂעַר רֹאשׁ נִזְרוֹ, וְנָתַן עַל-הָאֵשׁ, אֲשֶׁר-תַּחַת זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים.

6:19
After the nazirite has shaved, the priest shall take the cooked foreleg of the ram along with one unleavened loaf and one flat matzah, and place them on the nazirite’s open hands.
Velakach hakohen et-hazroa beshelah min-ha’ayil vechalat matsah achat min-hasal urkik matsah echad venatan al-kapey hanazir achar hitgalecho et-nizro.
וְלָקַח הַכֹּהֵן אֶת-הַזְּרֹעַ בְּשֵׁלָה, מִן-הָאַיִל, וְחַלַּת מַצָּה אַחַת מִן-הַסַּל, וּרְקִיק מַצָּה אֶחָד; וְנָתַן עַל-כַּפֵּי הַנָּזִיר, אַחַר הִתְגַּלְּחוֹ אֶת-נִזְרוֹ.

6:20
The priest shall wave them with the motions prescribed for a wave offering before God. These are sanctified to [belong to] the priest, along with the animal’s chest given as a wave offering, and the hind leg given as an elevated gift. After [all] this, the nazirite may drink wine.
Vehenif otam hakohen tnufah lifney Adonay kodesh hu lakohen al chazeh hatnufah ve’al shok hatrumah ve’achar yishteh hanazir yayin.
וְהֵנִיף אוֹתָם הַכֹּהֵן תְּנוּפָה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה–קֹדֶשׁ הוּא לַכֹּהֵן, עַל חֲזֵה הַתְּנוּפָה וְעַל שׁוֹק הַתְּרוּמָה; וְאַחַר יִשְׁתֶּה הַנָּזִיר, יָיִן.

6:21
This is the [entire] law concerning the nazirite, who has a vow obligation to bring his nazirite sacrifice to God. This is in addition to anything else that he may wish to present to fulfill his vow, which must be brought above and beyond what the law requires for his nazirite vow.
Zot torat hanazir asher yidor korbano l’Adonay al-nizro milevad asher-tasig yado kefi nidro asher yidor ken ya’aseh al torat nizro.
זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַנָּזִיר, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר, קָרְבָּנוֹ לַיהוָה עַל-נִזְרוֹ, מִלְּבַד אֲשֶׁר-תַּשִּׂיג יָדוֹ; כְּפִי נִדְרוֹ, אֲשֶׁר יִדֹּר–כֵּן יַעֲשֶׂה, עַל תּוֹרַת נִזְרוֹ.

6:22
God spoke to Moses, telling him to
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe lemor.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר.

6:23
speak to Aaron and his sons, saying: This is how you must bless the Israelites. Say to them:
Daber el-Aharon ve’el-banav lemor koh tevarachu et-beney Yisra’el amor lahem.
דַּבֵּר אֶל-אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל-בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר, כֹּה תְבָרְכוּ אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל: אָמוֹר, לָהֶם.

6:24
‘May God bless you and keep watch over you.
Yevarechecha Adonay veyishmerecha.
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ.

6:25
‘May God make His presence enlighten you and grant you grace.
Ya’er Adonay panav eleycha vichuneka.
יָאֵר יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ.

6:26
‘May God direct His providence toward you and grant you peace’.
Yisa Adonay panav eleycha veyasem lecha shalom.
יִשָּׂא יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם.

6:27
[The priests] will thus link My name with the Israelites and I will bless them.
Vesamu et-shemi al-beney Yisra’el va’ani avarachem.
וְשָׂמוּ אֶת-שְׁמִי, עַל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל; וַאֲנִי, אֲבָרְכֵם.
