Fifth Aliyah
4:19
And Lamech took unto him two wives; the name of one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
Vayikach-lo Lemech shtey nashim shem ha’achat Adah veshem hashenit Tsilah.
וַיִּֽקַּֽח־ לוֹ לֶמֶךְ שְׁתֵּי נָשִׁים שֵׁם הָֽאַחַת עָדָה וְשֵׁם הַשֵּׁנִית צִלָּֽה׃
4:20
And Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of such as dwell in tents and have cattle.
Vateled Adah et-Yaval hu hayah avi yoshev ohel umikneh.
וַתֵּלֶד עָדָה אֶת־ יָבָל הוּא הָיָה אֲבִי יֹשֵׁב אֹהֶל וּמִקְנֶֽה׃
4:21
And his brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all such as handle the harp and pipe.
Veshem achiv Yuval hu hayah avi kol-tofes kinor ve’ugav.
וְשֵׁם אָחִיו יוּבָל הוּא הָיָה אֲבִי כָּל־ תֹּפֵשׂ כִּנּוֹר וְעוּגָֽב׃
4:22
And Zillah, she also bore Tubal-cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron; and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
VeTsilah gam-hi yaldah et-Tuval Kayin lotesh kol-choresh nechoshet uvarzel va’achot Tuval-Kayin Na’amah.
וְצִלָּה גַם־ הִוא יָֽלְדָה אֶת־ תּוּבַל קַיִן לֹטֵשׁ כָּל־ חֹרֵשׁ נְחֹשֶׁת וּבַרְזֶל וַֽאֲחוֹת תּֽוּבַל־ קַיִן נַֽעֲמָֽה׃
