Leviticus 26:3 – 27:24

Second Aliyah

26:6
I will grant peace in the land so that you will sleep without fear. I will rid the land of dangerous animals, and the sword will not pass through your land.

Venatati shalom ba’arets ushchavtem ve’eyn macharid vehishbati chayah ra’ah min-ha’arets vecherev lo-ta’avor be’artsechem.

וְנָתַתִּי שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ, וּשְׁכַבְתֶּם וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד; וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי חַיָּה רָעָה, מִן-הָאָרֶץ, וְחֶרֶב, לֹא-תַעֲבֹר בְּאַרְצְכֶם.

26:7
You will chase away your enemies, and they will fall before your sword.

Uredaftem et-oyveychem venaflu lifneychem lecharev.

וּרְדַפְתֶּם, אֶת-אֹיְבֵיכֶם; וְנָפְלוּ לִפְנֵיכֶם, לֶחָרֶב.

26:8
Five of you will be able to chase away a hundred, and a hundred of you will defeat ten thousand, as your enemies fall before your sword.

Veradefu mikem chamishah me’ah ume’ah mikem revavah yirdofu venaflu oyveychem lifneychem lecharev.

וְרָדְפוּ מִכֶּם חֲמִשָּׁה מֵאָה, וּמֵאָה מִכֶּם רְבָבָה יִרְדֹּפוּ; וְנָפְלוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶם לִפְנֵיכֶם, לֶחָרֶב.

26:9
I will turn to you, making you fertile and numerous, thus keeping My covenant with you.

Ufaniti aleychem vehifreyti etchem vehirbeyti etchem vahakimoti et-briti itechem.

וּפָנִיתִי אֲלֵיכֶם–וְהִפְרֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם, וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֶתְכֶם; וַהֲקִימֹתִי אֶת-בְּרִיתִי, אִתְּכֶם.
