6:29
God spoke to Moses and said, ‘I am God. Relate to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all that I am saying to you.’
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe lemor ani Adonay daber el-Par’oh melech Mitsrayim et kol-asher ani dover eleycha.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹר, אֲנִי יְהוָה; דַּבֵּר, אֶל-פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ מִצְרַיִם, אֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי, דֹּבֵר אֵלֶיךָ.
 

6:30
Interrupting the revelation, Moses said, ‘I do not have the self-confidence to speak. How will Pharaoh ever pay attention to me?’
Vayomer Moshe lifney Adonay hen ani aral sfatayim ve’eych yishma elay Par’oh.
וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה: הֵן אֲנִי, עֲרַל שְׂפָתַיִם, וְאֵיךְ, יִשְׁמַע אֵלַי פַּרְעֹה.
 

7:1
God said to Moses, ‘Observe! I will be making you like a god to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.
Vayomer Adonay el-Moshe re’eh netaticha Elohim le-Far’oh ve’Aharon achicha yihyeh nevi’echa.
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל-מֹשֶׁה, רְאֵה נְתַתִּיךָ אֱלֹהִים לְפַרְעֹה; וְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ, יִהְיֶה נְבִיאֶךָ.
 

7:2
You must announce all that I order you to, and your brother Aaron will relate it to Pharaoh. He will then let the Israelites leave his land.
Atah tedaber et kol-asher atsaveka ve’Aharon achicha yedaber el-Par’oh veshilach et-beney-Yisra’el me’artso.
אַתָּה תְדַבֵּר, אֵת כָּל-אֲשֶׁר אֲצַוֶּךָּ; וְאַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ יְדַבֵּר אֶל-פַּרְעֹה, וְשִׁלַּח אֶת-בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְצוֹ.
 

7:3
‘I will make Pharaoh obstinate, and will thus have the opportunity to display many miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt.
Va’ani aksheh et-lev Par’oh vehirbeyti et-ototay ve’et moftay be’erets Mitsrayim.
וַאֲנִי אַקְשֶׁה, אֶת-לֵב פַּרְעֹה; וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֶת-אֹתֹתַי וְאֶת-מוֹפְתַי, בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.
 

7:4
This is why Pharaoh will not pay attention to you. But then I will display My power against Egypt, and with great acts of judgment, I will bring forth from Egypt My armies – My people, the Israelites.
Velo-yishma alechem Par’oh venatati et-yadi beMitsrayim vehotseti et-tsiv’otay et-ami veney-Yisra’el me’erets Mitsrayim bishfatim gdolim.
וְלֹא-יִשְׁמַע אֲלֵכֶם פַּרְעֹה, וְנָתַתִּי אֶת-יָדִי בְּמִצְרָיִם; וְהוֹצֵאתִי אֶת-צִבְאֹתַי אֶת-עַמִּי בְנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, בִּשְׁפָטִים, גְּדֹלִים.
 

7:5
When I display My power and bring the Israelites out from among them, Egypt will know that I am God.’
Veyad’u Mitsrayim ki-ani Adonay bintoti et-yadi al-Mitsrayim vehotseti et-beney-Yisra’el mitocham.
וְיָדְעוּ מִצְרַיִם כִּי-אֲנִי יְהוָה, בִּנְטֹתִי אֶת-יָדִי עַל-מִצְרָיִם; וְהוֹצֵאתִי אֶת-בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, מִתּוֹכָם.
 

7:6
Moses and Aaron did this. They did exactly as God had instructed them.
Vaya’as Moshe ve’Aharon ka’asher tsivah Adonay otam ken asu.
וַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה, וְאַהֲרֹן–כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֹתָם, כֵּן עָשׂוּ.
 

7:7
When they spoke to Pharaoh, Moses was 80 years old, and Aaron was 83 years old.
UMoshe ben-shmonim shanah ve’Aharon ben-shalosh ushmonim shanah bedabram el-Par’oh.
וּמֹשֶׁה, בֶּן-שְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה, וְאַהֲרֹן, בֶּן-שָׁלֹשׁ וּשְׁמֹנִים שָׁנָה–בְּדַבְּרָם, אֶל-פַּרְעֹה.
