14:54
The above is the [entire] law for every leprous mark, bald patch,
Zot hatorah lechol nega hatsara’at velanatek.
זֹאת, הַתּוֹרָה, לְכָל-נֶגַע הַצָּרַעַת, וְלַנָּתֶק.

14:55
leprous mark in a garment or house,
Ultsara’at habeged velabayit.
וּלְצָרַעַת הַבֶּגֶד, וְלַבָּיִת.

14:56
and [white] blotch, discoloration or spot [on the skin],
Velas’et velasapachat velabeharet.
וְלַשְׂאֵת וְלַסַּפַּחַת, וְלַבֶּהָרֶת.

14:57
so that decisions can be rendered as to the day one is rendered clean and the day one is rendered unclean. This is the [entire] law concerning the leprous curse.
Lehorot beyom hatame uveyom hatahor zot torat hatsara’at.
לְהוֹרֹת, בְּיוֹם הַטָּמֵא וּבְיוֹם הַטָּהֹר; זֹאת תּוֹרַת, הַצָּרָעַת.

15:1
God spoke to Moses and Aaron, telling them
Vayedaber Adonay el-Moshe ve’el-Aharon lemor.
וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל-אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר.

15:2
to speak to the Israelites and tell them [as follows]: When a man has a discharge from his organ, this discharge can render him unclean.
Daberu el-beney Yisra’el va’amartem alehem ish ish ki yihyeh zav mibesaro zovo tame hu.
דַּבְּרוּ אֶל-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וַאֲמַרְתֶּם אֲלֵהֶם: אִישׁ אִישׁ, כִּי יִהְיֶה זָב מִבְּשָׂרוֹ–זוֹבוֹ, טָמֵא הוּא.

15:3
He becomes unclean through a discharge if his organ dribbles with the discharge or if he has [some of it] stuck to his organ. This makes him unclean [so that]
Vezot tihyeh tum’ato bezovo rar besaro et-zovo o-hechtim besaro mizovo tum’ato hi.
וְזֹאת תִּהְיֶה טֻמְאָתוֹ, בְּזוֹבוֹ: רָר בְּשָׂרוֹ אֶת-זוֹבוֹ, אוֹ-הֶחְתִּים בְּשָׂרוֹ מִזּוֹבוֹ–טֻמְאָתוֹ, הִוא.

15:4
any bed upon which the man with the discharge lies is unclean, and any object upon which he sits is [also] unclean.
Kol-hamishkav asher yishkav alav hazav yitma vechol-hakeli asher yeshev alav yitma.
כָּל-הַמִּשְׁכָּב, אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב עָלָיו הַזָּב–יִטְמָא; וְכָל-הַכְּלִי אֲשֶׁר-יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו, יִטְמָא.

15:5
Any person who touches [the man’s] bed must immerse his clothing and his body in a mikvah and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Ve’ish asher yiga bemishkavo yechabes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְאִישׁ, אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בְּמִשְׁכָּבוֹ–יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:6
[Similarly,] anyone who sits on an object upon which the man with a discharge has been sitting must [also] immerse his clothing and his body in a mikvah, and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Vehayoshev al-hakli asher-yeshev alav hazav yechabes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְהַיֹּשֵׁב, עַל-הַכְּלִי, אֲשֶׁר-יֵשֵׁב עָלָיו, הַזָּב–יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:7
If anyone touches the body of the person with the discharge, he must [similarly] immerse his clothing and his body, and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Vehanogea bivesar hazav yechabes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְהַנֹּגֵעַ, בִּבְשַׂר הַזָּב–יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:8
If the saliva of the man with a discharge comes in contact with a ritually clean person, [the latter] must immerse his clothing and his body, and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Vechi-yarok hazav batahor vechibes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְכִי-יָרֹק הַזָּב, בַּטָּהוֹר–וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:9
Every saddle upon which the person with the discharge rides shall be unclean.
Vechol-hamerkav asher yirkav alav hazav yitma.
וְכָל-הַמֶּרְכָּב, אֲשֶׁר יִרְכַּב עָלָיו הַזָּב–יִטְמָא.

15:10
[Thus] anyone who touches something that has been under [the man with a discharge] shall be unclean until evening. One who lifts [such an object] must immerse both his clothing and his body, and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Vechol-hanogea bechol asher yihyeh tachtav yitma ad-ha’arev vehanose otam yechabes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְכָל-הַנֹּגֵעַ, בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה תַחְתָּיו–יִטְמָא, עַד-הָעָרֶב; וְהַנּוֹשֵׂא אוֹתָם–יְכַבֵּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:11
If anyone touches a man with a discharge who has not immersed [even] his hands in a mikvah, then [that person] must immerse his clothing and his body in a mikvah, and [then] remain unclean until evening.
Vechol-asher yiga bo hazav veyadav lo-shataf bamayim vechibes begadav verachats bamayim vetame ad-ha’arev.
וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע-בּוֹ הַזָּב, וְיָדָיו לֹא-שָׁטַף בַּמָּיִם–וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם, וְטָמֵא עַד-הָעָרֶב.

15:12
If the man with a discharge touches the inside of a clay vessel, it must be broken. If it is a wooden vessel, it must be immersed in a mikvah.
Uchli-cheres asher-yiga-bo hazav yishaver vechol-keli-ets yishatef bamayim.
וּכְלִי-חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר-יִגַּע-בּוֹ הַזָּב, יִשָּׁבֵר; וְכָל-כְּלִי-עֵץ–יִשָּׁטֵף, בַּמָּיִם.

15:13
When the man is healed of his discharge, he must count seven days for his purification. He shall then immerse his clothing and his body in a mikvah of running spring water.
Vechi yithar hazav mizovo vesafar lo shiv’at yamim letahorato vechibes begadav verachats besaro bemayim chayim vetaher.
וְכִי-יִטְהַר הַזָּב, מִזּוֹבוֹ–וְסָפַר לוֹ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים לְטָהֳרָתוֹ, וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו; וְרָחַץ בְּשָׂרוֹ בְּמַיִם חַיִּים, וְטָהֵר.

15:14
On the eighth day, he shall take two turtle doves or two young common doves, and coming before God to the Communion Tent entrance, he shall give them to the priest.
Uvayom hashmini yikach lo shtey torim o sheney beney yonah uva lifney Adonay el-petach ohel-mo’ed unetanam el-hakohen.
וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי, יִקַּח-לוֹ שְׁתֵּי תֹרִים, אוֹ שְׁנֵי, בְּנֵי יוֹנָה; וּבָא לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, אֶל-פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד, וּנְתָנָם, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן.

15:15
The priest shall prepare one [bird] as a sin offering, and one as a burnt offering. The priest shall thus make atonement before God for the person, [thus purifying him] of his discharge.
Ve’asah otam hakohen echad chatat veha’echad olah vechiper alav hakohen lifney Adonay mizovo.
וְעָשָׂה אֹתָם, הַכֹּהֵן–אֶחָד חַטָּאת, וְהָאֶחָד עֹלָה; וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו הַכֹּהֵן לִפְנֵי יְהוָה, מִזּוֹבוֹ.
